The Archives and Local Studies service collects, preserves and makes available documents and publications covering all aspects of life in the borough from the earliest times to the present day.

We operate a full enquiry service and are once again in a position to consider donations to the collections.

An appointment is not always necessary but it is recommended. A large percentage of our original documents are now held off site and need to be ordered in advance.
