Cost: £3 per session
Athletics training for children to learn the basic Agility, Balance and Co-ordination (ABCs) and Run, Jumps and Throws (RJTs).
Our 'Hit the Ground Running' sessions combine track and field work with indoor 'sports hall' athletics.
We follow England Athletics guidelines delivering Athletics 365 programme, which provides athletes with a well rounded introduction into athletics. This is endorsed by Toni Minichello, Jessica Ennis-Hill’s coach.
Saturday story stop

A drop in session for children 4 - 11 years.
Stories and book related fun, games and craft activities.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Community Litter Pick
Date: 2nd April 2017

Why not join us at the next Firbeck community litter pick.
Meet at the Village Hall, New Road, Firbeck, from 10am.
Equipment will be provided, however please wear appropriate footwear and warm clothing.

Active Always at Swinton Highfield

Active Always is a programme of physical activity delivered all over the borough that will help you improve your health and wellbeing. If you have never exercised before, it’s not too late to start.
Every Monday 10.30am to 11.30am
This class provides a range of activities including seated and standing exercise, improved mobility and strength.
We want you to feel safe and be assured you are getting a quality and effective session. We have been working with partners to ensure all activities advertised are Quality Assured. All instructors are specially qualified to teach health related exercise, and have the correct level of qualification and experience.
