The Secret Garden Pond Project

Date: 16th Feb 12 - 16th Feb 12

Location: Aston Lodge Junior and Infant School

Time: 11:00 - 14:00

Cost: Free

As an extension of last years hugely popular lunchtime club at Aston Lodge School, we are looking to create a community group based around the existing wildlife area.

We are holding an open day so that you can come along and see what the children have been developing and how it can benefit the wider community.  You and your family can have a go at the exciting activities available from pond dipping to bug hunting, even build your own birdbox/feeder (strictly limited to one per family, while stocks last).  You will also have the chance to create your own mini version of the garden and shape the development of the area.

Anyone who enjoys what the taster session has to offer will be able to join the group and help shape future development.  During the drop in session there will be free refreshments and even a pancake tasting and flipping contest!

Free fun day out this half-term.
