Hovercraft Championships

Cost: Free to spectate £5 parking charge, Hovercraft members only competing.

The Hovercraft Club of Great Britain return to Rother Valley Country Park to compete on Northern Lake 23rd and 24th June 2018.

Spectators can watch this thrilling and noisy event free of charge.

Saturday Warm up in the morning:

Saturday racing starts approximately 12noon.

Sunday racing starts approximately 10am.

Car parking charges apply £5.00 per vehicle.

The National Hovercraft Championships return to Rother Valley Country Park for a race weekend full of speed loud noise and thrills.

The hovercraft drivers transfer from the land to the lake and on to the land with great skill as they race around Northern Lake at the Park.

100 competitors are expected to race over the weekend events.

Super Hero Day

Date: 24th June 2018

Location: Thrybergh Country Park

Time: 11:00 - 16:00

Cost: Free entry, parking charge applies, lots of free activies, small charge for some activities

Calling all big and small heroes, take a break from your super work and enjoy our special day at Thrybergh Country Park on Sunday 24th June.

Join Batman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman and Ironman for Superhero Sunday at Thrybergh Country Park

Be Spider Man on our climbing wall, a dare devil on a speed boat, Green Arrow on his archery range and Bat Man in his caves. There are activities for all ages and everyone is encouraged to dress up and have fun.

You can take it easy and stroll through the community and wildlife stalls or refuel your super powers in the Lakeside Cafe or Tutti Frutti Ice Cream Parlour.
