Our music programme offers a wide range of activities including; band rehearsals and music recording, music technology, instrument lessons, singing, live performances and music theory and business.  Attendees have the opportunity to gain qualifications and meet new people who share the same interests in a venue that is equipped with top of the range music equipment and recording facilities.

Beginners ICT classes

Join us for courses to help you to get started, and get the best out of your computer! No jargon, just simple plain English.

Help with everything from getting started; using a keyboard and mouse, to setting up an email account, surfing the internet and much more. In our friendly, informal courses you'll be able to go at your own pace and relax in the knowledge that staff are always on hand to help. We have computers available for you to use for free, and free internet access too!

We can also offer you free online access to many fantastic resources (we subscribe so you don't have to):

Detached Youth Work

Working your area to support young people on their parks, streets and using our mobiles. 

Session involve working with groups of young people on issues such as ASB, CSE, drugs and alcohol, raising self esteem and community responsibility. 

The young people we work with are often sign posted on to other projects that will help them develop their behavioural, social and emotional selves.

Open Access Youth Club - Y7 and Y8

Date: 10th April 2015 - 25th September 2015

Location: Swinton Youth Centre

Time: 18:30 - 20:30

Cost: 50p

This is a drop in session where young people in Year 7 and 8 can attend at any time to take part in a wide range of activities.

Our open access sessions are aimed at young people who are in Y7 and 8 and provide space  to relax, meet friends and have fun.

Activities on offer include; music, sports, cooking, crafts, games, consoles, pool tables and opportunities to go on trips and residentials.

As well as these activities youth workers provide support and advice around issues that affect young people.  

Race for Life training

Weekly training sessions in the build up for Race for Life in Rotherham on 5 July.

The weekly run/jog training sessions will be lead by experienced coaches. They are suitable for complete beginners, people wishing to improve and existing runners. 

The aim is to improve fitness and/or enter Race for Life or similar events. The sessions are open to male or female participants.
