Working your area to support young people on their parks, streets and using our mobiles.

A friendly, welcoming group with a shared love of books!

We love books, and we love talking about them! Join us for lively, interesting debate in a friendly and relaxed setting.

We read all sorts of books, and no genre is taboo! Everyone can influence the choice of book and everyone's opinion counts!

We are not a stuffy group, but a warm and welcoming one where the socialising is just as important as the reading.

Some groups have tea/coffee, cake and even wine clubs - contact us for details.

Friends of Clifton Park Museum luncheon club

Come along and enjoy lunch in the Granary Cafe from 12 noon followed by a talk in the Garden Room at 1.00 pm.

Speaker Richard Bell presents "The Sand House: A Victorian Marvel."

The charges for the talk is £1.00 for Friends Group Members and £1.50 for visitors.

You will need to buy your own lunch as this is not included in the price.

Open Access Youth Club - Y8 to Y10

This is a drop in session where young people in Year 8+ can attend at any time to take part in a wide range of activities.

Our open access sessions are aimed at young people who are in Y8 and above and provide space  to relax, meet friends and have fun.

Activities on offer include; music, sports, cooking, crafts, games, consoles, pool tables and opportunities to go on trips and residentials.

Aswell as these activities youth workers provide support and advice around issues that effect young people.

Open Access Youth Club - Y8 to Y11

This is a drop in session where young people in Year 8 to 11 can attend at any time to take part in a wide range of activities.

Activities include pool, table tennis, art and craft activities, music, use of sports hall with RUFC cooking, baking activities, curriculum learning planned for this term includes activities around emotional wellbeing and  street/personal safety/ internet safety.

Young men's dance project also starting in this session in October.

Rhyme Time at Kimberworth Library

This is a drop in session where young people can attend at any time to take part in a wide range of activities.

The sessions consist of young people participating in activities such as pool, table tennis, access to games consoles etc. and having the opportunity to be involved in issued based learning.  

Such learning includes alcohol awareness, internet safety, bullying, substance misuse, racism/sexism/homophobia/disablism and many more.  

Young people also have the opportunity to be involved in voice and influence and making sure that their voice is heard.
