The success and future sustainability of the Project were celebrated at the National Local e-Gov Conference at EXCEL in London on 5th and 6th April 2006.

The government confirmed that the future of eBenefits will be with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and a consortium of private sector partners following the submission of it’s sustainability plan.
The Consortium going forward includes amongst others RBT Connect Ltd (the Council's joint venture company with BT) who can focus on helping councils get the best out of the eBenefits system, Northgate Information Solutions who will be a key channel to the marketplace for the eBenefits system together with Ruleburst, Comino and other vendors.
