Direct Payments are a different way of getting the support you need. Instead of Neighbourhoods and Adult Services providing your care services you can now have the money to buy the care you need and choose the kind of support that is right for you.
You can even choose to have some of the services you need provided by us and use a Direct Payment to pay for others, allowing you to make the most of your life by giving you flexibility, choice and control.
How you can apply for a Direct Payment
To receive a Direct Payment you must first have an assessment in the same way as you would for a social care service.
To request an assessment please contact
Assessment Direct by
telephone on 01709 822330
email assessmentdirect@rotherham.gov.uk
