As part of the Council's strategy to reduce the fear of crime and to tackle the anti-social behaviour which affects some areas in the borough, Streetpride's Highway Structures team has installed a safety mirror at Bailey House subway.

Subway users should be able to use the mirror to spot any oncoming pedestrians round the corner. Hopefully, this will increase users' confidence, especially at night-time.
If the use of this mirror proves to be successful, then further safety mirrors will be installed on other subways in the borough.
