The Council's Corporate Transport Unit is pleased to offer a range of driver training and assessment services to minibus drivers who drive for schools and voluntary organisations.
The Council has joined the MIDAS scheme organised by the Community Transport Association (CTA). MIDAS helps improve minibus safety by enhancing the driving and passenger awareness skills of drivers.

The full MIDAS provides a nationally recognised qualification.
We also offer daily use checks training which includes a Powerpoint presentation and a practical demonstration to make drivers aware of their legal responsibilities.
