Travel Plans

A travel plan is an integrated method of looking at an organisation's travel and transport requirements . It improves operational efficiency and helps to reduce the organisation's negative impacts on the environment, e.g. air quality and congestion.

The Council has taken the lead in Rotherham by developing its own travel plan and is encouraging other organisations both through the planning process and information campaigns.

Contributing to the shared objectives

Travel plans contribute to reducing congestion, improving air quality, road safety and accessibility.
