Bulky Waste Collection Service

The subsidised service has two charging structures;

• £20.00 for up to 3 items (then £15.00 for each further 3 items up to a maximum of 9 items). This includes furniture items and electrical goods including fridge/freezers. Rothercard holders qualify for a 50% discount.
• DIY items such as bathroom suites, window frames, doors etc can also be collected, the charge is £30.00 for up to 3 items (then £25.00 for each further 3 items up to a maximum of 9 items).

Paying for the service has now been made easier. As well as paying by postal order or cheque in the post you can also pay in person at any of the local area housing offices, the Howard Building on College Lane or Civic Building in the town centre. There is also the option to pay over the phone when you place your order by using your Switch, Delta, Visa or Mastercard.

On receipt of payment we will tell you the date when we will collect your order. On the day of collection the items must be accessible from 7:00am outside your house, as the crew are unable to pick up from inside your house or garage.
