What You Should Expect From Us

  • A weekly or fortnightly collection of your household waste
  • An alternate weekly collection of recyclables
  • Help with each collection where approved
  • Bins repaired or replaced within 10 working days
  • Appointments made to collect bulky items of waste from households within 10 days of receiving payment
  • 4 Household Waste Recycling Centres for use by Rotherham householders
  • Waste treated in accordance with the law and with consideration to the environment and our customers
  • If you put out your container for collection by 7.00 AM on your scheduled collection day and we fail to empty it, we will correct this within one working day
  • Agreements for the collection of business waste
  • We will be courteous, helpful and polite at all times
  • We can provide you with details of our clinical waste service to allow you to agree a date and location

What We Ask Of You

  • Waste and recycling containers to be made available for collection by 7.00 AM on the scheduled collection day
  • Please be considerate when parking. Vehicles blocking access makes refuse collection difficult
  • As soon as possible after collection, please return your container to your property
  • Please do not overfill your container, or put in heavy objects such as rubble or soil
  • Make use of our Household Waste Recycling Centres and bulky Items Collection Service. Please ring our helpline for further information and advice ( (01709) 823014
  • Your clinical waste to be available for collection at the agreed date and location in accordance with the written guidance provided (01709) 823198
  • Telephone (01709) 336003, the Streetpride helpline, for reporting a missed bin collection or any other complaint regarding refuse collection
  • Telephone (01709) 823014 for any other enquiry about waste or recycling
