What You Should Expect From Us
- A weekly or fortnightly collection of your household waste
- An alternate weekly collection of recyclables
- Help with each collection where approved
- Bins repaired or replaced within 10 working days
- Appointments made to collect bulky items of waste from households within 10 days of receiving payment
- 4 Household Waste Recycling Centres for use by Rotherham householders
- Waste treated in accordance with the law and with consideration to the environment and our customers
- If you put out your container for collection by 7.00 AM on your scheduled collection day and we fail to empty it, we will correct this within one working day
- Agreements for the collection of business waste
- We will be courteous, helpful and polite at all times
- We can provide you with details of our clinical waste service to allow you to agree a date and location
What We Ask Of You
- Waste and recycling containers to be made available for collection by 7.00 AM on the scheduled collection day
- Please be considerate when parking. Vehicles blocking access makes refuse collection difficult
- As soon as possible after collection, please return your container to your property
- Please do not overfill your container, or put in heavy objects such as rubble or soil
- Make use of our Household Waste Recycling Centres and bulky Items Collection Service. Please ring our helpline for further information and advice ( (01709) 823014
- Your clinical waste to be available for collection at the agreed date and location in accordance with the written guidance provided (01709) 823198
