The Arnold Centre

The Arnold Centre is situated on Goldsmith Road, near the
centre of Rotherham. The centre is an enhanced resources nursery, which provides additional support for children with learning difficulties or disabilities.

  • High quality childcare and early education for the 0-5s.
  • We offer a range of groups for children to improve their literacy, language skills, confidence, social skills and self esteem.
  • Come along to a carer and toddler group! Contact the centre for times and information.
  • Parents and carers can attend groups run by health professionals and others at the centre e.g. well baby clinics, help to stop smoking, and baby massage.

If you are a parent or carer who would like advice from one of the team of family support workers, or to attend one of the family learning groups, please contact the centre. Examples of this include parenting skills, bedtime routines or safety in the home.


Our multi-sensory room is available which aids relaxation and includes special equipment for parents and children to use that can help develop their senses.
