Education Catering service continues to acknowledge that there is a need for change and development. Coupled with this change is the need to invest in self-financing asset improvement schemes, a refocusing of personnel and the adoption of professional marketing philosophies in order to provide better quality services to its clients and customers.
Pilot projects which gave a new approach to the catering service continue to experience success both financially and in the uptake of meals. The implementation of additional refurbishment programmes will raise the profile of the service and the meal uptake, which will then benefit the finances of the service. The success of new investment schemes will enable us to reinvest in future schemes whilst providing the necessary momentum to achieve the aims of the business.
