My child is frequently coming home from school with reports from the teachers that his behaviour is bad. What should I do?
In primary school - you need to discuss this with the class teacher, ensure that everyday the teacher sends a book or record card of the behaviour home and that you sign to acknowledge receipt. In secondary school contact would be with the form tutor or year manager.

What do I do if my child's behaviour is getting worse?
If you are already communicating with the class teacher or head of year then ask to see the headteacher in the primary school or a member of senior management in the secondary school.

Can I as a parent, refer to Behaviour Support Service?
Yes. Behaviour Support Service will contact school and gather their views as well as speaking with parents/carers

What happens when my child has been temporarily excluded from school?
You will receive a letter from the headteacher detailing the reasons and the length. You may request to meet with the headteacher for a re-admission discussion. Work will be sent home whilst your child is fixed excluded and you should ensure that it is completed and returned to school as detailed in the information from school.
