Behaviour Support Service - Re-Integration Officer

Works with all permanently excluded non-statemented pupils, of all ages - throughout the borough.
Offers individual support to parents and carers, helping them to find a new school for their permanently excluded child.

Visits parents and carers in their homes and explains the process post-permanent exclusion.

Ensures that after permanent exclusion parents/carers and the pupil feel supported and are clear about the way forward by:

Arranging meetings with the new Schools/Pupil Referral Unit's
Attending meetings to help support parents/carers and the pupil
Ensuring regular reviews are undertaken and everyone is kept informed
Ensuring appropriate support in the School/Pupil Referral Unit is provided for the pupil.
