Capital Resources

The capital resources team is responsible for the planning of educational building projects.

Services include:

  • providing information and advice on improving and developing school buildings in co-operation with the asset management service.
  • planning for the replacement of temporary classrooms with fit for purpose permanent buildings.
  • the management and monitoring of the capital resources programme, ensuring it is delivered and within budget.
  • provide monitoring and guidance to schools with regard to Devolved Formula Capital Grant.
  • submission of capital bids to the Department for Education and Skills, e.g. Targeted Capital Fund.
