Planning of Pupil Places

One of the teams primary responsibilities is to plan for pupil places in Rotherham which is produced annually in the school organisation plan.

Services include

  • analysis of population trends, including birth rates in rotherham
  • analysis of housing developments and demolitions
  • monitoring and production of school catchment areas (lists and maps)
  • production of Primary and Secondary School Profiles
  • analysis of school admission numbers
  • school reorganisation procedures
  • advise on school capacity issues, particularly in relation to admission numbers
