Improve your library: a self evaluation process

School libraries can provide a flexible place for learning where project work, individual study, group research, reading and the teaching of ICT can all take place.

As part of your whole school self-evaluation, the DCSF model provides a tool to enable those responsible for school libraries to assess the quality of what they provide, as well as providing practical advice and suggestions for improving the way that the library supports pupil learning.
