Millennium Volunteers (MVs) are young people who give up their free time to help their local communities. You might find them coaching a school football team, working at a community radio station or helping create a garden for local residents. MV allows young people to build on their interests, to develop themselves and make a difference to their community at the same time.
Rotherham Young People's Services Millennium Volunteers Project supports young people aged 16-24 to 'build on what they are into,' and gain nationally recognised awards for 100 and 200 hours of voluntary work to put on their C.V.'s.
