How do I register to use the service? You will need to create a free account from a People's Network computer in your local library by going to the NetLibrary websiteClick on the Create a Free Account link and enter your details. You will be asked to create a username and password. Once you have created an account in the library you will be able to log into NetLibrary from any computer with internet access, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.How do I download an eAudiobook to my player or home computer? Quick Guide to Downloading (19Kb)This is also available in all libraries.How many eAudiobooks can I have?You can 'check out' (download) up to 10 eAudiobooks for a 21 day loan period. After this time the file will stop playing on your player or computer. You can renew the license before the 21 day expiry time.Please note that you do not have to 'return' an eAudiobook - the license will automatically be deleted.How do I know if my device is compatible?NetLibrary's eAudiobooks can be listened to on a wide range of portable devices, including portable music players, portable media centers, Pocket PCs, and even select smartphone devices. The device must be able to support playback of secure or protected wma files using Windows Media Player v9.0 or above and have a bookmarking facility. Please check your player's guide before attempting to download an eAudiobook as library staff will not be able to provide technical support for personal computers, software media players, or portable listening devices. Why can't I download and listen to a book from a People's Network PC?You cannot download and store an eAudiobook on a People's Network computer in the library because of the various security restrictions.
