Wickersley Community Library

The Library Service and Wickersley Parish Council are now finalising details leading up to the opening of the new Community Centre and Library on Bawtry Road, Wickersley.

Whilst the building itself is now almost complete there is still work to do in fitting out the interior of the library, including shelving, furniture and signage, computer equipment and of course, the books. Staff have now been appointed and will be starting training prior to taking up their new duties.

It is hoped to open the library later in the Summer with an exciting event to showcase the new building and officially open it in Autumn. A special event for young people is also planned to take place in the October half-term holiday.
