There are lots of exciting things going on in libraries!

Events

Look out for lots of fun activities happening at your local library. These include annual events like the Summer Reading Challenge, as well as storytime sessions for little ones, reading groups, book events and local promotions. And there's no need to be bored during the school holidays either, as most libraries will have lots of fun events planned. Please see the  Library Events page.

Exhibitions and Displays

Several of our libraries have exhibition space and all our libraries regularly present displays - contact the library for details.

Talks

Library staff are happy to attend community and other meetings to talk about the library services. group visits, including school classes, are also very welcome. Contact the library if you want to arrange a visit.

Book Sales

Some libraries occasionally offer old bookstock for sale - novels, reference and children's books. You need to contact the individual library for details.

Friends of the Library

A Network of Library Friends Groups exists to work with the Library Service to promote reading and interest in the service. If you are interested in joining, contact your local library. We want to hear your views and ideas!
