Based at Thurcroft Junior School, the Music Service has made a vital contribution to the education and personal development of young people across the borough, helping them to learn specific musical skills, increase their confidence, gain self-discipline and represent Rotherham in competitions both at home and abroad.
The Service offers tuition in schools, advice on buying instruments and the acquisition of instruments, parental support, music centre opportunities, subsidised tuition and assessments, examinations and report procedures for children in Year 3 onwards.
