Allotments

The Council has recognised for many years the value and benefit allotment gardening has to the residents of Rotherham.

We see Rotherham's allotments as making an important contribution to the quality of people's lives. Allotment gardening has an important roll to play in creating and maintaining healthy neighbourhoods and sustainable communities.

We recognise that allotment gardening not only provides health benefits but also creates a reliable source of fresh fruit and vegetables.
