An exhibition showing the best of Rotherham’s sporting achievements from the 2008 Beijing Olympic games, including items related to gold medallist Paul Goodison.

Rotherham Olympians-meet the champion
Meet Kevin Hayes, Olympic Bronze medallist with the wheelchair basketball team. Learn about his sport as he demonstrates his basketball skills. Some members of the audience will also have the opportunity to participate and see what it is like to be a wheelchair basketball player.

There will be 4 sessions on the day at 10:30, 11:30, 1:30 and 2:00. To be held in the Studio Theatre, Rotherham Arts Centre. Entry is free, by ticket only. Tickets are available through the box office in Rotherham Arts Centre or by calling 01709 823621

Rotherham Olympians
Demonstration by Ulley Sailing Club. A chance to see a selection of sailing boats and learn how they work. Members of the audience will be able to handle the boats and see what it is like with the wind in their sails. There will be three sessions on the day, 10:30, 12:30 and 2:00.
