Heartbeat Fitness Suite
This facility opened in October 2002. A wide range of membership options allow access to both Herringthorpe and Thrybergh Sports Centre Fitness suites. Contact the Health and Fitness co-ordinator on (01709) 388502 for details.
Herringthorpe Stadium
The stadium in the grounds of the leisure centre offers a floodlit running track and is open to both individual and club users. The track is home to Rotherham Harriers and Athletic Club, one of the region's leading clubs. All enquiries to (01709) 388518.
Herringthorpe Playing Fields
These take up most of the Herringthorpe site and include an artificial all-weather pitch, fifteen football, rugby and hockey pitches (winter) and four cricket pitches (summer). The fields are well used by local sports clubs and in summer host events such as Rotherham Show and Motoring Weekend. All enquiries to (01709) 379858.
