Householder Guidance Leaflets
Many house extensions or structures built in the garden do not require planning permission. Staff in the Development Control section are available to provide guidance and advice on such matters. Where it cannot be established whether planning permission is required from the information provided, completion of the
Householder Development Enquiry (11 Kb) form can help the Council to determine whether such permission would be required.
Application and Fees Forms for the developments referred to above can be downloaded and submitted to the Council.
