Regional Spatial Strategy

The Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) sets out the broad development strategy for the region. It covers topics such as housing, economic development, transport, the environment and regeneration. The RSS is prepared by the Yorkshire and Humber Assembly before being finalised by government. The Assembly are now updating the RSS to test and explore the scale, locations and infrastructure needed to accommodate higher housing growth. You can find out more about the 2009 Update to RSS here:
