    Licence - Exotic, Dangerous or Wild Animals

    No person shall keep any dangerous wild animal except under the authority of a licence granted in accordance with the provisions of the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976.


    If you wish to keep a dangerous wild animal at premises within the Borough of Rotherham you must first apply to the Authority for a licence prior to purchasing the animal. Applications for the keeping of a dangerous wild animal can be downloaded here:
