Laughton en le Morthen

Visit the splendid village church, with a beautiful tower and spire soaring 185 foot. The spire is one of the borough's most visible landmarks and on a clear day Lincoln Cathedral can be seen from the battlements. Keep a look out for the remains of the motte and bailey castle (in private ownership), which dates back to the 600s and was the site of one of King Edwin Northumbria's castles.
