The Chief Executive's department provides corporate and community leadership, ensures effective corporate governance, provides support and advice to elected Members, develops corporate policies and the Council's strategic agenda, represents the Council externally at a local, regional, national and international level, works corporately with directorates and external partners, and provides a lead on corporate standards of performance and customer care.
