External and Regional Affairs Team

The External and Regional Affairs team is based in the Chief Executive’s Directorate and is made up of the following staff:

The key functions of the External and Regional Affairs team include:

• to increase the Council’s understanding and influence at local, sub regional, regional, European and International level to maximise the benefit for Rotherham communities
• to raise the profile of international work, including the twinning with St Quentin, in the borough to ensure that as many people as possible can benefit from the links
• to join up investment priorities and external funding by aligning key strategies and programmes to maximise the impact of Rotherham’s regeneration
• to maximise funding into the borough to add value to the delivery of the Community Strategy and Corporate Plan priorities
