The representation of disabled workers in the Council has continued to increase following work to encourage employees to declare their disability maintaining the position of the Council being a top quartile performing Metropolitan Authority.
BME representation in the workforce has increased and proportionally equates to 107% of the 2001 census BME working population in Rotherham.
Performance on the proportion of women and BME employees in the top 5% of earners has increased following last years dip. Promoting management development training to provide opportunity for women and BME employees to progress through the organisation continues.
