Commentary

Women employees continue to be below the corporate turnover rate of 10.3%.  The rate for BME employees increased to 13%, however representation in the workforce also continues to improve.  The turnover rate for disabled employees fell 2% from the previous year and again is reflected in the increased representation across the workforce.

Turnover rates continue to be the highest amongst 16-24 year olds and over 65’s, the rate however has reduced by 6% and 11% respectively from the previous year.

Analysis identifies that Black or Black British employees are 50% higher than the corporate rate. However this is a small minority group and vulnerable to low numbers distorting the statistics.
