Recreation Areas and Play Facilities

A very popular children's play area is situated on the edge of the recreation field at Flash Lane, built with the help of Groundwork Creswell. Close by is the multi-use games area, an excellent recreation facility funded by the house builder Jones Homes (Northern) Limited. There is also a play area for young people at Barrie Grove, Hellaby, which has a ramp for skateboarding.

In partnership with Rotherham Borough Council, the Parish Council's next project is to provide and maintain good recreation facilities for children and young people and is considering longer-term plans to make further improvements in the local area.
