Sustainable Communities Scrutiny Panel

Sustainable Communities Scrutiny Panel is chaired by  Councillor Rose McNeely , with  Councillor Pat Russell as vice-chair.

Additional Members of the panel include:

Cllr A Atkin, Cllr W Blair, Cllr B Cutts, Clllr J Falvey, Cllr Gamble, Cllr K Goulty, Cllr J Havenhand, Cllr P Lakin, Cllr G Nightingale, Cllr S Walker and Cllr F Wright + co-optees.

Areas of work include:

• Borough-wide Housing and Neighbourhood Strategy
 
• Accountability of the ALMO (Arms Length Management 
  Organisation) and other strategic partnerships
 
• Environmental issues and waste management

• Trading standards and food standards/health and safety

• Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy and community safety

The Sustainable Communities Panel generally meets at 9.30am on the second or third Thursday of each month. Meetings are usually held in the Town Hall.
