Rotherham's Community Strategy
This strategy sets out a long term vision for the year 2020 of a borough where everyone feels proud to live and work and where every citizen and business can realise their potential. This strategy outlines the steps we will take over the next five years to help turn this vision into a reality.

Rotherham's Corporate Plan
The plan sets out the policy direction for the Council's activities and provides a focus and reference point for councillors, officers, the Council's partners and Rotherham people. Rotherham's Corporate Plan directly supports the vision and overall objectives of the Rotherham's Community Strategy.

Rotherham's Local Area Agreement
The Local Area Agreement sets out the main priorities for Rotherham, which have been identified by Rotherham's communities in the Community Strategy and also through further consultation events that have been held with a wide range of partners across Rotherham.
The agreement helps us to focus money against these priorities and makes sure that partners work better together to meet the local needs of Rotherham. As part of the agreement a number of “stretch” targets have been drawn up, these targets include a commitment to an increase in the Council's performance and include some funding from Government and a reward grant if the extra performance is achieved
