The Cabinet makes key decisions on Council policy and budget. These are then agreed by the Full Council.
Area Assemblies are local partnerships made up of councillors, local residents and other organisations, such as Health, Police etc. There are seven Area Assemblies across the borough that deal with local issues at a local level.
