By implementing electronic government (or e-government) we are improving our services and making them more accessible for customers through a range of channels, such as
by telephone via the Rotherham Connect contact centre
in person in one stop shops
using electronic channels such as kiosks, websites and text messages.
The government has set Councils the target of making all their services available through these channels by 2005, and the annual Implementing Electronic Government (IEG) return documents our progress towards this target and in developing e-government generally.
