Rotherham Show offers a weekend jam-packed with entertainment in the beautiful surroundings of Clifton Park.

This two-day event brings you fabulous live music, arena entertainment, a large vintage vehicle display, horticultural show, fair, food court and other food vendors around the park, diversity festival, emergency services day, strongman competition, animal shows, military displays, fresh produce and craft marquee and an eclectic mix of stalls to browse.

This year we are proud to bring you some new attractions including an AdVintageous Pop-Up Vintage Fair, magical walkabouts and even an enormous whale!

What an exciting weekend we have in store for the whole community of Rotherham and beyond. We hope to see you there!

Plus, don’t forget that you can visit the Museum and use the wonderful play area facilities in the park while you are at the show.

Entry to Rotherham Show is free with the majority of entertainment also being free with the exception of the fair, food vendors, ticketed evening concerts and entry into the animal shows, Horticultural Show and Vintage Vehicle Rally.

Directions and parking


Rotherham Show is at Clifton Park. The park is on Clifton Lane (A6021), is half a mile from Rotherham town centre.

If travelling by car or visiting outside from outside of Rotherham, you can reach us from junctions 33, 34, or 35 of the M1, or junction 1 of the M18.

Free parking

Visitor parking will be available on both days of the show on Herringthorpe Playing Fields.

Dedicated disabled parking is available at the Doncaster Road entrance to the park.

Public transport

There are also buses that run frequently with stops around Clifton Park, these are: Doncaster Road – Nos. 11, 12 and 37, Middle Lane – Nos. 11 and 12 (subject to any route changes – please check with Traveline on 01709 515151).

The nearest train station, taxi ranks and bus station are in the town centre.


There will be plenty of temporary toilets around the showground. You can pick up a show programme from Event Control which includes a map indicating where toilets are positioned. On the map toilets will be marked with a ‘T’ and disabled toilets marked with ‘DT’.

Eating and drinking

There are many catering outlets situated in both the food court area and throughout the showground.


Yorkshire Ambulance Service members are based at first aid points on the showground. A number of event staff are also fully qualified first aiders.

People with disabilities

Every effort is made to welcome people with disabilities to the show, although it is advised that wheelchair users may experience some difficulty in negotiating areas off the tarmac paths.

Show information

You can pick up a Rotherham Show programme from Event Control over the weekend which includes details of entertainment throughout the showground, a detailed map and a key to stalls. Staff at Event Control will be on hand to answer any questions or queries you may have about Rotherham Show. Event Control will be positioned close to Main Arena on the large field at the back of the Museum.
