Cooking demonstrations on the Victorian Range . You can try samples of the recipes cooked on the Range and copies of the recipes will be available to buy. This month the Kitchen Rangers will be cooking Valentine's Day treats.
This event is suitable for all ages. The Granary Café in the museum is open for buying light refreshments.

Come along and enjoy some great sports activities including football, cricket, basketball, athletics, kangoo jumps and much more!
Refreshments will be available.
Please wear sports clothing suitable for the outdoors, a waterproof coat, suitable sports footwear and bring a packed lunch and a drink.
Cost: £2.50 for 5 - 7 years and £5 full day for 8 - 16 years

Join in the fun activities such as a military-style makeover using army face paints and Rambo style headbands. Other activities include invasion games, team games and races; capture the flag, an assault course, RAF paper-plane making and various competitions for medals.
Please bring a packed lunch and wear suitable old clothing!
Cost: £4 per child. Places are free to eligible children and the price is subsidised for non-eligible children.
A place must be booked in advance, please call Nicola McMullen on 01709 760621.

Family Fun Day - Mythical Beasts

Sessions run from 11am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 3pm
Make your own dragon puppet and mask for ages 4 to 10 years old when accompanied by an adult. The Granary Café in the museum is open for buying refreshments.
Cost: £2 per child.
Booking advisable as places are limited, tickets go on sale one week before the event. Bookings can be made in person at the Museum or by *card over the phone on 01709 336633.
*Card payments under £5 will incur an additional 50p charge per session.
The Adventures Of A Bear Called Paddington

Third Nail Theatre presents their wonderful production about the adventures of the much-loved children's character Paddington Bear.
After leaving his Aunt in darkest Peru , a polite bear with a love of marmalade sandwiches finds himself alone at Paddington station with just a battered old suitcase and wearing a tag which says: "Please look after this bear. Thank you."
Adopted by Mr and Mrs Brown, Paddington's misadventures soon turn their lives upside down in a production filled with music and song, and lots of fun.
