Playgrounds

The Council was selected as one of only 20 'wave 1' local authorities throughout England to become a Play Pathfinder authority. This means that the council is providng 29 new or improved play areas throughout the borough, Clifton Play Park and Rotherham Adventure Playground.

13 play areas have already been completed during 2008/09 and launch events are currently taking place to celebrate this achievement. Explore your local play area for information on its redevelopment and launch. This year will see a further 16 play areas transformed or created.
