Map movies

The Council has produced several map movies which show bus, cycling and walking routes around the borough.

The movies were made to help promote sustainable travel.

Using the movies

You need to have Macromedia's Flash Player installed to be able to see the movies.

If you do not have this software already, it can be downloaded from the Adobe website.

How they work

Most of the movies are in several parts which loop. See the whole movie. Different parts of the movie show walking, bus and train routes. Some movies show local transport to start with, and then zoom out to show the wider area. The yellow circles are links to map movies covering adjacent areas.

Journey planner

To access the Yorkshire Journey Planner click on the yellow circle over Rotherham Interchange.

Bus stops

Some movies show main bus stops.

Click the bus stop to bring up a panel showing the time of your next bus.

Disclaimer

Infrequent services may not be shown. The movies were produced in July 2010 and may not show any later route changes. Changes due to intermittent weather or road works problems will not be shown.
