Gardening scheme
The gardening scheme is designed to help Council tenants over 65 and those with disabilities of any age with basic gardening, for example, mowing the lawn. This scheme is only open to people who do not have a relative to help them in the area. This is because we tend to a maximum of 400 gardens, so it important that we help the people who are most vulnerable.
The scheme is delivered in partnership with Project 400, who provide work placements for adults with learning difficulties.
The scheme costs £10.00 a visit, with three visits a year.
If you are interested in accessing this scheme, complete an online Gardening scheme application form or call your local neighbourhood office.
