Rent and arrears advice

If you rent a Council house or flat and you would you like to:

  • Check your account balance
  • Get a statement of your account
  • Request a replacement rent card
  • Make a debit/credit card payment to your rent account
  • Request a refund of a credit balance from your rent account
  • Discuss a small arrears balance

then speak to one of our Customer Service Assistants by calling 0300 100 2010 or by visiting any Customer Service Centre (no appointment necessary).

If you are experiencing difficulties or you have increasing arrears balance

We know that balancing finances can be a challenge, especially if you're on a limited income or don't have a bank account. That's why our Housing Income Team can offer help and advice, in confidence, if you are finding it difficult to pay your rent. You can contact the Housing Income Team on the phone or we can even arrange for someone to come out and see you in your home. If you would like to speak to a member of the Housing Income Team please call 0300 100 2010.
