Request a repair

Non urgent repairs and maintenance

Telephone: For routine repairs, ring Rotherham Customer Services on 01709 336009 from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday.

Online: Request a repair online

In person: You can request a repair in person at your local neighbourhood office or Customer Service Centre.

Emergencies

When our offices are closed and you need to contact us in an emergency, telephone us on the following numbers. You will either be transferred directly to the emergency out-of-hours service or given further details:

Emergency repairs: 24 hours, including gas and water leaks:

For emergency housing (non-repairs) including homelessness:
Telephone: 0300 100 2010

Please request all emergency repairs as soon as they occur.

What to expect when you report a repair

When you call Rotherham Customer Services for a repair on your property:

  • You will be given a reference number for every repair you request
  • We will offer you an appointment for repairs where we need access into your property

Please let us know if you require a signer or a translator when we visit you, or if you have any other circumstances you would like us to take into consideration, such as arranging to meet carers.

We will always wear identification badges and show them to you when we meet you.

We will check that the repair has been carried out to your satisfaction.
