We operate an open door, face to face advice session for immigration issues between 9am and 3pm every Thursday with follow-up appointments at the main Bureau on Wellgate - there can be long queues so be prepared to wait. If you do not speak English we will need to arrange an appointment so that we can have an interpreter present. Advice on all other areas of civil law can be accessed by an initial contact on 01709 515680 between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
Or, we have an adviser at the Unity Centre every Wednesday between 3.30pm and 5pm. Again you may have to wait. We have a Slovakian interpreter available.

Rotherham Ethnic Minority Alliance
Welcomes you to Rotherham and looks forward to supporting you to enjoy living and working here.
Rotherham Ethnic Minority Alliance (REMA) is a voluntary organisation which supports new and existing ethnic communities, for example Polish, Slovakian, Czech, Roma, African, Chinese, Irish, Yemeni, Indian, Pakistani and Kashmiri. REMA helps people from similar backgrounds to meet each other as well as people from other communities. We can also provide a meeting space and support to start your own community group.
The REMA team can support you to learn more about your employment, cultural, educational and social opportunities in Rotherham. You can also be involved and have a say about how to improve local services such as health services, schools, housing, council services and the police so that they can better meet your needs, for example your right to an interpreter.
