Lymphedema

macmillan cancer support

Lymphedema is a condition that causes swelling and fluid retention caused by a compromised lymphatic system. This often occurs due to the lymph nodes being removed as part of cancer treatment.

If you suffer from Lymphedema and it affects your ability to cook a main meal or to dress yourself then you may wish to look at the possibility of claiming Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
